Kathleen Caswell, CMB, AMP joined Freddie Mac in 2001 as a Regional Account Executive. For the last eight years Kathleen has served community lenders in New England, New York and New Jersey. As an Account Executive, Kathy is responsible for managing and building relationships with Freddie Mac’s Seller Servicers. Her commitment to education includes training on relevant programs, industry insight and operational and marketing strategies that keep lenders up-to-date.
Kathy is a Past Chair of the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association and a Past President of the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Foundation. She is a past President of the Rhode Island Mortgage Bankers Association. Kathy earned both her Certified Mortgage Banking Certification and is an Accredited Mortgage Professional.
Kathy is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and continues to reside in Rhode Island.

Peter W. Fickeisen joined Luxury Mortgage Corp. in February 2017 as Director of Business Development. In this capacity, Mr. Fickeisen serves on the company’s Production Leadership Committee and is responsible for helping to integrate best practices across the firm’s national sales cycle spectrum. Based in Massachusetts, Fickeisen is also widely recognized as one of the top mortgage originators in the U.S. He has earned an elite status as a Top 200 loan officer by Scotsman Guide from 2011-2016.
During his impressive 14-year career, Fickeisen has successfully facilitated thousands of residential mortgage loans, amounting to over $800 million in total volume. He has worked to develop programs with the State of Massachusetts for first time homebuyers.
Peter’s philosophy is always put his clients’ needs first and maintain close relationships with them after their loans close. He believes he should serve a client and their extended family for life. Before entering the mortgage industry, Fickeisen worked in the winter sports business, where he helped pioneer ski and snowboard helmets around the world. His involvement was primarily with the management of pro athletes, marketing and sales. Peter lives on the South Shore with his wife, 3 boys and golden retriever. He is an avid boater, skier, and loves to attend the games of his favorite Boston sports teams. Greg Bird, Economist, the New Hampshire Center for Public Policy Studies
Greg Bird is an economist at the New Hampshire Center for Public Policy Studies. Prior to joining, Greg was the Policy Analyst at the New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute, where he produced analyses on the New Hampshire economy, the state’s budget, and poverty in the Granite State. Between 2011 and 2014, Greg was an economist in the West Chester, PA office of Moody’s Analytics, analyzing U.S. regional economies as well as the U.S. housing market. He received his master’s degree in economics from Temple University and his bachelor’s degree in political science from Muhlenberg College.
Albert Saiz, Director, Center for Real Estate, MIT
Professor Saiz also serves as the Director of MIT’s Urban Economics Lab, which conducts research on real estate economics, urban economics, housing markets, local public finance, zoning regulations, global real estate, and demographic trends affecting urban and real estate development worldwide. He teaches in both the MIT Urban Planning and Real Estate programs.
Before joining MIT, Saiz was a Research Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, and an award-winning Assistant Professor of Real Estate and Economics in the MBA Core Program at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Saiz currently serves as a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia; a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Analysis of Labor (IZA – Bonn, Germany); a Board Member at the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association, and as a Research Advisor for Buildzoom.com. He is also an Editor of the Journal of Housing Economics. He holds a BA in economics from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (1995) and a PhD in economics from Harvard University (2002).

Prior to being installed as President, Yorkis was the 2016 president-elect. Before joining the MAR Leadership Team, Yorkis served as the MAR Government Affairs Vice President. Post-graduation, Kevin worked for many years in construction and commercial/industrial development in Northern New England. This work included many forays into community and state regulatory negotiations and process and provided an excellent understanding and working relationships with the public sector.
In the early nineties, Kevin became part of Real Data Corporation in Manchester NH, a publishing entity for the financial and real estate industries. Duties here very quickly involved development and servicing to the public sector as well. Real Data had been providing data for years to the NH DRA and it now developed and implemented a full state-wide Electronic Equalization (EQ) process contracted to the DRA. Kevin’s duties included the outreach and training of all NH town and DRA personnel along with the annual sales study completion.
The EQ process led to excellent cooperative relations and understanding of how important real estate data is to all aspects of the economic community, both public and private. Real Data completed the first Statewide parcel data set as the baseline for attributing all other transactional activities such as mortgages, sales, liens, distress Etc.
In late 2014 Real Data was acquired by The Warren Group, thus increasing their service area to all of New England. Kevin became part of The Warren Group team and is expanding efforts into both VT and ME to gather and complete the Parcel sets to provide comparable service as it currently services CT, MA, NH and RI.
